Tabele of silence
This project, titled "Masa Tăcerii" (Table of Silence), draws inspiration from a late dinner night with my family and Constantin Brâncuși's famous "Table of Silence."
It reflects moments where silence is needed at the table, yet people often struggle to embrace it, leading to superficial conversations devoid of true meaning. In this illustration, words are fragmented into letters on plates, serving as metaphorical food and symbolizing varying levels of communication.
The challenge was to depict the simple truth of individuals living in silence yet having the choice to engage or remain spectators at the table, deciding whether to consume or contribute to meaningful dialogue.
